Mode overview

What Unlimited changes

The scoring instinct stays familiar, but the prompt pool and the way you approach a run are different from the shared Daily Dive.

The Daily Dive gives everyone the same seven prompts and one shared daily moment. Unlimited changes the cadence: it lets you move into another official dive instead of waiting for the next reset. Each run still rewards uncommon accepted answers more heavily than the first obvious association.

That makes consistency more valuable than a single spectacular guess. A dependable answer in every category keeps the run alive; a second, narrower branch gives you a route toward the 85- and 100-point tiers. Treat each prompt as a fast classification task before you type.

Unlimited and this site’s Practice Dive are not interchangeable. Unlimited is operated by Krillion and uses its current game data and access rules. Practice Dive is a free, independent training loop using dated public reveals from past Daily Dives.

Answer map

Build branches before you play

Use these category branches to move past the first obvious answer while keeping a reliable fallback.

01

Start with a safe branch

Name the broad category first, then keep one answer you are confident fits the wording. This prevents a zero while you search for depth.

02

Move one level narrower

Shift from the obvious family to a region, era, subtype, specialist term or less familiar example that still clearly belongs.

03

Protect spelling under pace

Prefer an uncommon answer you can type cleanly over a perfect idea with uncertain punctuation, naming or category fit.

Before the first prompt

A three-step prep loop

A short routine protects the run from rushed category mistakes without turning play into memorization.

  1. 1

Warm up with one historical round

Use Practice Dive to switch into category recall before opening the official mode. Review why each shallow answer was common.

  2. 2

    Set a fallback rule

Give yourself a short search window. If the deeper branch does not arrive, submit the reliable answer instead of letting the prompt collapse.

  3. 3

    Review patterns between dives

After a run, note which category families produced zeros or shallow picks. Train those families rather than memorizing one isolated answer.
