Why was my Krillion answer not accepted?

A missing match does not settle whether an answer is factually valid. First distinguish a companion lookup from a result in the official game, then compare the exact question and its date.

Check these four things first

  1. 1. Is it the same game mode?

This site’s checker searches a saved Daily Dive sheet. It is not the official submission form, and it does not validate every themed pack. For Words & Language / Lexicon, Movies, Sports or Geography, use the instructions and results inside that official mode. An independent practice website may use its own answer bank.

  2. 2. Do the date and question agree?

Compare the date in the status bar with your game, then read the whole prompt. The same subject can be asked with different limits: a product type is not a brand, length is not height, and a national flag is not any flag. One matching word in two questions does not make their answer sets interchangeable.

After the recorded reset, the companion may still show the previous sheet while publication is pending. Copy any route you need before reloading. A refreshed clock alone does not prove that the new answers were captured.

  3. 3. Does the recorded spelling match?

Try the complete name or title requested by the prompt. The companion tolerates case, accent and ordinary spacing differences, but it does not freely guess synonyms or invent aliases. Symbols can carry meaning: C, C# and C++ must not become the same answer. Where normalization creates conflicting recorded scores, the tool avoids assigning an arbitrary tier.

After finishing your attempt, open the full answer sheet — spoilers to inspect the recorded spelling. An exact match here describes that saved record; it is not a guarantee about a different live round.

  4. 4. Could the curated list be incomplete?

The official FAQ says valid answers can be missed when an answer set is assembled. That makes a missing entry possible, but it does not automatically prove that any rejected answer fits. Keep the exact question, submitted spelling, game date and supporting reference together before reporting it.

Why are the points different?

A score in our tools is attached to one answer on one dated prompt. Check that both results come from the same mode and wording. Also distinguish an official reveal from an independent game with a different scoring system. The companion does not maintain a universal score for each word.

The official FAQ describes curated rarity assessment rather than a simple tally of today’s players. It also explains that the top gem considers how satisfying an answer is, not rarity alone. A 100-point entry is therefore not proof that fewer people typed it than every 85-point entry. See the six-tier scoring guide for the points used on this site.

What do the companion’s error messages mean?

No unambiguous reveal match: the selected dated list did not yield a reliable spelling match. Page and data no longer match: a tool cannot safely use the answer-sheet version associated with the page. Neither message means your official account or score has been changed.

Preserve your typed route, check the status bar and reload the page when newer data is available. Do not start by deleting cookies or browser storage: that can remove local progress or preferences without correcting a missing entry in the game’s list.

Report the right issue to the right place

For a companion page error, use our contact and corrections form. Include the exact page URL, game date, full question, the spelling you entered, the result shown and a reliable source supporting your correction. Keep the report about that particular record, not just the bare answer word.

For a ruling inside the original game, use the feedback or support route linked from the official Krillion FAQ. This companion cannot change the publisher’s validator. Do not include passwords, login codes or payment details in either report.

Missing history is a separate issue

An uncaptured date in the archive is a coverage gap, not a round with zero accepted answers. We retain saved records and disclose inaccessible dates rather than inventing old questions or scores. The update policy explains this boundary.

Answer troubleshooting FAQ

Does not found mean my answer is wrong?

No. A companion miss means no unambiguous spelling match was found on the selected dated sheet. The official FAQ also acknowledges that a fair answer can be absent from a curated set. The live game controls its own rulings.

Why does an answer score differently on another day?

Our points belong to a specific dated prompt, not to the word in every context. Compare the full question, game mode and date before comparing tiers. Do not transfer a score from a different sheet.

Does the daily checker validate Words & Language or other packs?

No. The checker uses the current saved Daily Dive reveal. Lexicon, Movies, Sports, Geography and independent practice games have different scopes; a daily match cannot establish a pack result.

Should I clear browser storage to fix a missing answer?

Not as the first step. Check the displayed date and exact prompt, then reload only after preserving a route you need. Clearing storage may remove saved progress or preferences and does not add an answer to a curated list.
